Junior L2 Production Support Engineer (Singapore)

We're looking for a Junior L2 Production Support Engineer with experience in Linux, Shell Scripting, Python, and SQL to support mission-critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 production support for business applications and batch jobs.

Monitor applications, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure SLA compliance.

Develop and maintain Shell and Python scripts for automation.

Execute SQL queries, analyse logs, and resolve production issues.

Support application deployments, job scheduling, and system monitoring.

Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in Application Support or Production Support.

Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting, Python, and SQL.

Basic knowledge of Java/J2EE applications.

Familiarity with JBoss, MariaDB, batch processing, and web applications.

Experience with MQ, Connect:C, or job scheduling tools is an advantage.

Banking industry experience is an added advantage.

Working Hours

Shift rotation:

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Weekend and Public Holiday support is required. Time off in lieu will be provided for Public Holiday support.
