Role Overview

As the India Cluster Controller, you will serve as a strategic business partner to the Country General Manager and cross-functional leadership teams across the India Cluster markets. Reporting directly to the Head of Controlling Emerging Growth Markets, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, shaping business strategy, and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to operations and management by deeply understanding the business strategy and anticipating their financial needs.

P&L and cashflow Management & Forecasting: Drive P&L and cashflow management with a strict focus on delivering accurate overall P&L (Sales, OPEX, EBIT) and cashflow forecasting.

Financial Planning: Lead the Planning and Forecasting processes in close coordination with key stakeholders to deliver consistent, ambitious, and highly reliable financial plans.

Performance Tracking & Reporting: Maintain a robust Business Performance tracking framework, including core financial reports and KPIs. Prepare monthly management reports enriched with qualitative, actionable performance insights.

Resource Allocation/Strategy 2030 implementation: Provide crucial financial information to assist the leadership team in optimizing resource allocation and meeting broader business objectives.

Local Finance, Taxation & Pricing: Work in close co-operation with local finance & taxation to manage implications of tax laws change, pricing regulations and adherence to audit requirements.

Risk & Opportunity Analysis: Deliver forward-looking and ad-hoc financial analyses to proactively address risks and capture new business opportunities.

Stakeholder Communication: Present financial findings and strategic insights to relevant stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams to actively influence day-to-day decisions and drive the direction of the business with a problem-solving mindset.

Who You Are You are a highly analytical and creative thinker who applies financial skills far beyond the traditional functions of controlling. You bring a strong track record of high performance and possess the ability to navigate risk and ambiguity. With a forward-looking business mindset, you are comfortable challenging the status quo and empowering decision-making at all levels.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: 7-10 years of professional experience in a Finance/Controlling environment, backed by proven success in a Business Partnering capacity. Accounting qualification / MBA in Finance/Accounting needed.

Leadership & Soft Skills:

Strong social, influencing, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Ability to work independently and foster agile, empowered ways of working.

Expert negotiation and conflict management skills.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex controlling topics for diverse audiences.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong capability in data mining and extraction using systems such as SAP, TM1, Tableau, and SAP BW.

Languages: Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
