What You'll Be Doing:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data architects, analytics engineers, and data engineers responsible for Synopsys' enterprise data platform.

Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities, and develop a strategic roadmap for data and analytics capabilities.

Prioritize team efforts across platform enhancements, operational support, technical debt reduction, and new project delivery.

Drive the successful delivery of data engineering projects from planning and design through implementation and production support.

Define and enforce standards for data architecture, data modeling, data quality, governance, documentation, and platform operations.

Establish strong delivery management practices including resource planning, execution tracking, stakeholder communication, and risk management.

Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable data architectures, ELT pipelines, and enterprise analytics platforms.

Ensure the reliability, availability, scalability, security, and performance of enterprise data platforms.

Collaborate across engineering, analytics, product, and business teams to enable effective data-driven decision making.

Promote modern data engineering best practices and continuous process improvement across the organization.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or related disciplines.

5+ years of people management experience leading technical teams.

Advanced hands-on expertise with:

Snowflake

dbt

SQL

Power BI

Data ingestion platforms such as Fivetran

Deep understanding of:

Data architecture

ELT/ETL pipelines

Data modeling methodologies

Data quality frameworks

Enterprise-scale platform scalability and performance

Experience supporting large-scale analytics and business intelligence environments.

Proven experience formalizing data engineering standards, governance frameworks, operating models, and best practices.

Strong project, program, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and business audiences.
