About the Role The SAP BASIS role is responsible for administering, monitoring, and maintaining SAP landscapes. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, ensuring the smooth operation of SAP systems across Development, Quality, and Production environments. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to optimize system performance, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain high levels of system security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Administer SAP landscapes including Development, Quality, and Production environments.
Perform SAP installations, upgrades, support pack implementations, and kernel upgrades.
Manage SAP transports and coordinate release activities across environments.
Monitor system performance and optimize SAP application and database performance.
Perform client copies, system refreshes, and landscape maintenance activities.
Handle SAP user administration, background jobs, spool management, and system monitoring.
Work on SAP HANA database administration activities including backup, recovery, and performance monitoring.
Support SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Solution Manager, Fiori, and NetWeaver systems.
Coordinate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams for issue resolution.
Manage SAP system security, certificates, SSL setup, and audit compliance activities.
Requirements
Manage and maintain SAP systems and landscapes.
Perform SAP installations, upgrades, and support pack implementations.
Manage SAP transports and release activities.
Monitor and optimize SAP system performance.
Administer SAP user accounts and system security.
Work with SAP HANA database administration.
Support multiple SAP systems and technologies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
