Location: Kasba, Kolkata Department: Production Salary: ₹55,000 – ₹65,000 per month (Based on experience, expertise, and leadership capability) Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred Reporting To: Factory Head / Director – Operations

Job Summary:

Stichwell Exports Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to lead the complete production of Leather Wallets and Small Leather Goods (SLG).

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing end-to-end wallet production, ensuring productivity, quality, manpower utilization, and on-time delivery while maintaining export-quality standards.

Only candidates from the Leather Wallet Manufacturing Industry will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and manage the complete production process for leather wallets and SLG.

Achieve daily and monthly production targets while ensuring timely shipment.

Supervise production teams and optimize manpower and machine utilization.

Monitor production efficiency and implement productivity improvement initiatives.

Ensure adherence to approved samples, quality standards, and buyer specifications.

Minimize rejection, rework, and material wastage.

Coordinate with Merchandising, Sampling, Planning, Purchase, Quality, and Stores for smooth production flow.

Resolve production bottlenecks and ensure uninterrupted manufacturing.

Maintain production reports, efficiency reports, and MIS for management review.

Train and motivate production staff to achieve operational excellence.

Required Skills:

✔ Strong knowledge of Leather Wallet Manufacturing and production processes.

✔ Experience in cutting, stitching, edge folding, assembly, finishing, and packing.

✔ Excellent leadership, planning, and manpower management skills.

✔ Strong problem-solving and production coordination abilities.

✔ Good knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.

✔ Ability to work under pressure and meet shipment deadlines.

Qualification & Experience:

Graduate or Diploma in Leather Technology, Production, or related field preferred.

Minimum 8–15 years of experience in Leather Wallet Manufacturing.

At least 3 years of experience as a Production Manager or Senior Production In-Charge.

Experience in Leather Export Houses will be highly preferred.
