Full Stack Developer

React + Node + Azure

Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, deploy, and maintain the Carrier Appointment Platform (CAP), a modernized cloud-native application on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in React JS, Node.js, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cloud Services, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and application monitoring. The candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end features from requirements through production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications using React JS and Node.js.

Build responsive and accessible UI components.

Develop RESTful APIs and backend services.

Design and implement database schemas, stored procedures, and queries in Azure SQL Database.

Build applications following cloud-native and microservices principles.

Azure Cloud Engineering

Deploy and manage applications on Azure.

Configure and optimize:

o Azure App Services

o Azure SQL Database

o Azure Key Vault

o Azure Storage Accounts

o Azure Application Insights

o Azure Monitor

o Azure Virtual Networks

Implement security best practices and identity integration.

DevOps & CI/CD

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

Automate deployments across Dev, Test, Stage, and Production environments.

Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

Use Git branching strategies and release management processes.

API & Integration

Design, develop, and secure REST APIs.

Integrate with internal and external enterprise applications.

Implement API authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Optimize API performance and scalability.

Monitoring & Reliability

Configure Application Insights and Azure Monitor.

Create dashboards, alerts, and health monitoring.

Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Ensure application performance, reliability, and observability.

Architecture & Best Practices

Participate in solution architecture and technical design discussions.

Drive secure coding practices and code reviews.

Implement enterprise standards for logging, monitoring, and error handling.

Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building applications from scratch.

Experience modernizing legacy applications.

Experience with enterprise healthcare or insurance applications.

Knowledge of security and compliance standards (PII, HIPAA, etc.).

Experience with Agile/Scrum development.

Azure Certifications are a plus:

o Azure Developer Associate

o Azure Administrator Associate

8+ years in software engineering.
