Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
High-frequency and DC characterization of transistors and integrated circuits, including S-parameter measurements up to 120 GHz, DC transistor characteristics measurements, RF linearity measurements, and RF high-power characterization
Design and improve measurement systems to enhance laboratory capabilities and measurement accuracy
Develop lab automation software to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency, leveraging programming skills and knowledge of lab equipment automation
Introduce and improve processes for measurement system verification and data management to ensure quality and traceability
Support laboratory organization in the areas of documentation, maintenance, calibration, inventory management, and investment planning
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Microsystems Engineering, or a comparable technical field, or completed training as an electronics technician
At least 1-3 year of professional experience in a relevant field, ideally in RF characterization or a related area
Profound experience in the electrical characterization of semiconductor components, with a solid understanding of RF electronics and RF testing
Good knowledge of the operating principles of semiconductor transistors, providing a strong foundation for RF characterization work
Programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB, or similar scripting languages used for lab equipment automation, ideally with knowledge in object-oriented programming and AI assisted code generation
Structured and analytical working style with high independence and strong problem-solving skills, as well as a strong dedication to laboratory work
Very good written and spoken German and English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
