About the role

The Opportunity

As a Strategy& Enterprise Functional Strategy - Utilities Manager, you will provide strategic guidance and insights to organizations, analyzing market trends and assessing business performance to develop recommendations that help clients achieve their goals. Within our Strategy practice, you will work closely with clients to identify opportunities for growth, optimize operations, and enhance overall business performance. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards, motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. In this role, you will analyze client needs, provide consulting services across different strategic areas, and offer guidance and support to help clients develop and implement effective strategies that align with their business objectives and drive growth.

Responsibilities

Analyzing market trends and assessing business performance to develop strategic recommendations

Collaborating with clients to identify growth opportunities and optimize operations

Leading teams in the development and implementation of effective business strategies

Conducting competitive analysis and industry trend research to inform strategic planning

Utilizing business process consulting skills to enhance client operations and drive transformation

Coaching team members to leverage their strengths and improve performance

Managing project planning, budgeting, execution, and completion to meet client objectives

Engaging in strategic questioning and stakeholder analysis to refine business strategies

Embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery and encourage team adoption

Addressing conflicts and facilitating difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders

Upholding professional and technical standards while articulating the firm's purpose and values

What You Must Have

At least a Bachelor's degree

At least 5 years of experience in professional services or consulting roles that include strategy consulting experience

Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Financial Mathematics/Quantitative Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain

Demonstrating strategic planning and execution in utilities sector

Utilizing business process improvement for enhanced client outcomes

Embracing technology and innovation in strategy consulting

Developing skills in business transformation and competitive analysis

Analyzing industry trends to identify business opportunities

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
