Manual Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 1 year of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing principles, be able to identify defects, and work closely with developers and business teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze project requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.

Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.

Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.

Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand application requirements.

Report testing progress, defects, and quality metrics.

Ensure applications meet functional and usability requirements.

Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-related feedback.

Required Skills

1 year of experience in Manual Testing.

Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.

Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).

Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.

Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.

Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman is an added advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

ISTQB certification is an added advantage.

Basic understanding of automation testing concepts is a plus.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
