General Ledger Accountant

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team. You’ll support the General Ledger Coordinator in ensuring accurate and compliant general ledger accounting for our e-commerce operations. You’ll play an active role in monthly closings, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.

What you’ll do:

Contribute to the accurate recording of general ledger entries and ensure consistency across all accounting areas.

Prepare monthly reconciliations (intercompany, accruals, prepayments, etc.).

Record and monitor fixed assets and depreciation schedules in accordance with accounting standards.

Oversee the valuation and periodic reconciliation of owned inventory, working closely with the Logistics and Controlling teams.

Post personnel-related costs, including payroll and related adjustments.

Manage monthly VAT settlements and the annual VAT declaration.

Assist in maintaining accounting schedules and supporting audit documentation.

Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Work closely with AP and AR teams to ensure data consistency across the finance system.

Contribute to process improvements and system optimization.

Support special projects and ad-hoc analyses requested by management.

What we're looking for:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in accounting roles.

Strong understanding of accounting processes and general accounting principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, will be a plus.

Collaborative, proactive, and eager to work in a fast-moving, international environment.

Experience with Microsoft Navision will be a plus.
