About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Architect to lead the design and integration of advanced AI capabilities into enterprise-grade software solutions. This role involves architecting scalable systems and guiding development teams to deliver cutting-edge AI-driven applications for a large web-based platform.

Key Responsibilities

Architect AI Solutions: Oversee the implementation of AI features within software products, including generative and agentic AI.

System Design & Integration: Scope and design AI components that integrate seamlessly with existing software stacks.

Technical Leadership: Establish best practices and mentor engineering teams

Cloud Deployment: Architect scalable, AI-enabled features for cloud native environments (e.g., AWS, GCP).

Collaboration: Work closely with product and data science teams to ensure AI solutions align with business objectives and compliance requirements.

Support AI Evaluations: Ensure AI architectures support evaluation and continuous monitoring to meet accuracy, and reliability standards.

Requirements

Australian Citizenship (mandatory for NV1 defence clearance eligibility).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

10+ years in software engineering or technology development, with significant experience in AI architecture and implementation.

Proven track record in designing and deploying generative AI and agentic AI solutions.

Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data storage, and cloud architecture.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, including technical documentation (e.g., UML).

Familiarity with web technologies and frameworks (React, Spring) is advantageous.
