About the role
Job Description
The Finance Analyst will be responsible for the setting up and processing of supplier or distributor contracted national volume discount (NVD) calculation, invoicing, collection, dispute investigation and reconciliation, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness.
Job Responsibilities
Contract Setup, Billing and Collection: Work with the purchasing managers to accurately interpret and setup contract rebate items for invoicing
Review new supplier items and code properly to comply with contract
Close billing programs timely to meet monthly and quarterly deadlines
Analyze NVD revenue variances and provide explanation to ensure accuracy
Prepare and communicate supplier invoices ensuring that all funds are collected on a timely basis
Reconcile supplier and distributor Vtrak rebate payments
Investigate dispute, work with internal and external parties to resolve variances
Deposit Processing: Input, allocate and validate supplier/distributor payments including follow-up and correction of short payments
NVD receivable balance sheet account reconciliation
Excel report consolidation using Macros
Document contracts and assist with internal SOX audit and external audit requirements
Assist other teams for NVD revenue analysis as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
College or University graduate with finance/accounting knowledge and experience
Prior work experience in a food services environment, preferably in Purchasing/Vendor Revenue
Strong personal computer skills with emphasis on intermediate level Excel
Detail oriented with ability to effectively manage priorities
Knowledge of food service industry products and brands would be an asset
Confident self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal Purchasing staff, suppliers and distributors.

The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00.
