The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-impact National Account Sales Manager – Hybrid/Remote (Automotive Aftermarket & Tools) who brings a deeply established network of industry contacts. The ideal candidate will leverage existing relationships and major retail/industrial connections to immediately open doors and accelerate market share.
Candidates with a proven track record of managing and growing accounts with industry giants such as Costco, Amazon (1P/3P), or PACCAR (and heavy-duty truck networks) are highly preferred and will be prioritized.
Key Responsibilities
Leverage Existing Networks: Utilize established relationships with key North American automotive, retail, and industrial buyers to fast-track product placement and new business development.
Account Management: Maintain and grow key accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Sales & Revenue Growth: Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to increase revenue and profitability.
Forecasting & Inventory: Manage sales forecasts by brand, SKU, and account; optimize inventory levels.
Team Leadership: Train and support sales coordinators, inside sales, and outside reps.
Market Insights & Strategy: Analyze competitors, identify trends, and explore product expansion opportunities.
Customer & Industry Engagement: Attend trade shows, visit customers, and collaborate on marketing initiatives.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with supply chain, legal, and product management teams as needed.
Qualifications
Industry Connections: An active, strong network of relationships with major national aftermarket retailers, warehouse distributors (WDs), wholesaler, industrial tool suppliers, and others.
5+ years of sales experience in the automotive aftermarket or industrial fluid power industry.
Strong negotiation skills, business acumen, and technical product knowledge.
Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Bachelor’s degree required.
