In this role, you will combine scientific expertise, technical consulting, and project leadership to support the continuous improvement of analytical and materials science capabilities worldwide. Working closely with international teams, R&D, and customers, you will contribute to the development of advanced analytical methods, quality excellence, and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical contact and consultant for employees, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders on analytical and laboratory-related topics.
Plan, deliver, and continuously improve training programs, workshops, and technical knowledge-sharing initiatives for laboratory teams.
Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods while ensuring quality and process control in compliance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
Lead and implement efficiency, cost-optimization, and continuous improvement projects within Analytics and Materials Science laboratories.
Collaborate closely with R&D, CPC, Application teams, external laboratories, and global TechCenters to support troubleshooting, innovation, and project execution.
Coordinate and evaluate global interlaboratory comparisons, monitor quality measures, and drive the introduction of new analytical methodologies.
Prepare and maintain technical reports, guidelines, work instructions, and other quality documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
What you bring to the table
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
Proven professional experience in analytical chemistry, with basic knowledge of materials science.
Strong expertise in instrumental analysis and hands-on experience with analytical methods and laboratory techniques.
Experience delivering technical training, workshops, and presentations to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in relevant laboratory software and data analysis tools.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in international and multicultural environments.
Structured, proactive, and team-oriented working style, with strong organizational skills, flexibility, resilience, and willingness to travel internationally.
