Job Description
Job Purpose
The Associate BI is responsible for assigned markets to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality delivery of reporting and analytics solutions. The role supports operational excellence by driving reporting efficiency, automation initiatives, data quality management, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous process improvements.
The Associate BI serves as a key bridge between Business Intelligence, Commercial, Operations, and Consulting teams while mentoring team members and supporting delivery leadership in achieving business objectives. This role is expected to demonstrate ownership, technical expertise, and leadership capabilities to prepare for future people management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Delivery Excellence
Deliver scheduled and ad-hoc reports within defined SLAs and quality standards.
Perform data validation, quality checks, and root cause analysis for reporting issues.
Monitor report delivery schedules and proactively mitigate operational risks.
Ensure adherence to reporting governance standards and operational procedures.
Support complex reporting requirements and business-critical deliverables.
Technical & Analytical Support
Develop advanced expertise in NIQ reporting platforms and BI tools.
Utilize Power BI, Excel, SQL, Discover, DIPE, Dynamics, CX, and other BI platforms to improve reporting efficiency.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and business insights.
Support dashboard enhancement, report optimization, and reporting automation initiatives.
Assist in troubleshooting data and reporting-related issues.
Process Improvement & Automation
Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and simplification.
Drive implementation of approved automation initiatives and process improvements.
Contribute to productivity enhancement and reduction of manual effort.
Support adoption of best practices across the BI organization.
Maintain and improve SOPs, knowledge repositories, and report documentation.
Team Support & Leadership
Act as a functional SME and provide guidance to Associates.
Support Team Leaders in workload management, capacity planning, and resource optimization.
Assist in monitoring team productivity, quality, and compliance metrics.
Provide onboarding, training, and coaching for new team members.
Drive knowledge-sharing sessions and promote continuous learning within the team.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary operational contact for allocated markets.
Collaborate effectively with BI Consultants, Commercial teams, Operations, Setup, and Global Delivery teams.
Communicate delivery status, risks, and escalation updates clearly and professionally.
Participate in business discussions and support stakeholder requirements.
Transition & Change Management
Support end-to-end transitions, including Knowledge Transfer, Dry Runs, Parallel Runs, Validation, and BAU Sign-off.
Deploy approved report enhancements and minor change requests.
Ensure transition documentation and knowledge repositories are maintained accurately.
Assist in stabilizing newly transitioned processes and reports.
Quality & Governance
Ensure compliance with BI quality standards, governance processes, and data security requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain production trackers, report inventories, Dynamics updates, and timesheet compliance.
Support audits and governance reviews when required.

Qualifications
Preferred Experience
3-6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Analytics, or Data Operations.
Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Advanced Excel, and reporting automation.
Experience in process transitions, operational support, and reporting delivery environments.
Demonstrated capability to mentor team members and lead small initiatives.
