Job purpose:

The Supervisor is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and overseeing all the staff. You will assist with staff training, service quality, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. You will also step in to manage operations in the absence of the General Manager or Deputy Manager.

This role is for our Burger King restaurants at Dublin airport.

Contract: 40 hours per week, across 4 days - 11 hour shifts with 1 hour unpaid break

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service.

Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

Ensure food is prepared and presented to high-quality standards.

Maintain kitchen inventory, order supplies, and manage stock levels to minimize waste.

Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.

Assist in training and mentoring staff to meet service standards.

Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and properly set up for service.

Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.

Maintain Brand food quality, quick service and cleanliness standards.

Maintain HACCP policies for all restaurant activities across shifts.

Assist in maintaining inventory levels and placing orders when necessary.

Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance service quality.

Support the management team with daily tasks, including scheduling and reporting.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a supervisory or similar role in the hospitality industry.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and safety standards.

Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Accessing the airport:

A five-year working and personal reference, along with a police check, will be required for this role as the store is airside in the departures lounge. This will be discussed in more detail at interview stage or please contact us if you have any questions regarding this.
