This is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with line managers, providing expert guidance on employee relations and case management, using HR data to identify trends and deliver meaningful insights, and coaching leaders to build their people management capability. You'll play a key role in driving employee engagement, improving workforce performance, and creating a positive employee experience in a 24/7 operational environment where your influence and expertise will make a real difference every day.

A Local Garda Security Clearance Check is required for the role. Own mode of transport is essential for this role.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

Support the HRBP/ site leadership team to deliver the strategic business & HR plan, and support managers to develop people management capabilities

Support with employee satisfaction, performance, retention and effective communication at sites

Provide HR support to contribute to the overall success of the HR agenda in delivering a proactive and customer-focused HR service by providing effective support, guidance and advice to managers and colleagues on a wide variety of HR matters, such as employee relations, policy and process, recruitment and the delivery of key projects

Advise and coach managers on the application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures in accordance with current and proposed employment legislation and local arrangements, to ensure consistency, accuracy and best practice

Support managers to develop and deliver solutions for workforce planning and management, including organisation design, forecasting resourcing needs, agency and identifying future talent requirements

Support the management of employee cases relating to disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence. This includes providing advice to managers on policy/procedure and legislation, support managers with Occupational Health, supporting formal investigations and hearings.

Work in collaboration with managers on managing sickness, managing redeployment where appropriate, assisting colleagues back to work and working with managers to reduce sickness absence across the organisation.

Provide accurate and timely data to the HRBP and managers to successfully deliver HR processes

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

1 – 2 years previous HR experience (Essential)

1 – 2 years hand on employee relations case management experience and HR Processes across the employee lifecycle (Essential)

Familiarity with IRE employment law and compliance requirements (Desirable)

Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail (Essential)

Experience supporting HR activities in logistics, warehousing, or transport environments (Desirable)

A CIPD / 3rd level qualification in Human Resources or equivalent (Desirable)

Proven ability to communicate with multiple stakeholder groups

Looking to develop in a fast-paced site-based environment

This role will support HR initiatives across multiple sites, therefore own mode of transport is essential for this role
