The Opportunity
Veolia is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our sales team in Brooklyn, VIC in our hazardous waste sector. You'll identify new customers, understand their needs, and present customized liquid and hazardous waste solutions. No two days are ever the same as you manage varying customers/waste streams. Ideal for sales professionals seeking growth in a stable, established company.

What you'll be responsible for
Win new business and then maintain strong ongoing customer relationships
Working with customers and internal stakeholders for management of large and small projects
Develop relationships with key stakeholders within client business and ensure service levels are met or exceeded
Project manage key solutions from transport to disposal solutions for various different wastes
Ability to drive your own career by identifying trends and new market segments
What you'll need to be successful
Demonstrated sales background with evidence of capacity to step up into a corporate BDM role
Eagerness to problem solve, build relationships and cold call
Hands on, proactive and energetic approach to business development
Ability to manage various systems and processes
Salesforce experience highly desirable but not essential
