Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, HRSD, App Engine Studio, and custom applications.
Define scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
Design and implement integrations using REST APIs with enterprise applications, ensuring secure authentication, error handling, and monitoring.
Architect workflow automation using Flow Designer, App Engine Studio, Service Catalog, Record Producers, and Order Guides.
Lead ServiceNow platform upgrades, release planning, risk assessment, deployment strategy, and post-upgrade validation.
Design and implement Automated Test Framework (ATF) strategies to improve release quality, regression testing, and platform stability.
Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, governance, and enforcement of ServiceNow best practices.
Develop and oversee platform customizations including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, Workspaces, and Database Views.
Manage platform security, CMDB governance, domain separation, data integrity, reporting, dashboards, and enterprise platform health.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, QA, and executive leadership to deliver AI-enabled ServiceNow solutions and provide strategic technical guidance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification (mandatory).
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred.
ServiceNow Micro-Certifications in Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Virtual Agent, or App Engine are desirable.
Required Experience
Approximately 10–12 years of experience implementing and architecting ServiceNow solutions within enterprise environments.
Extensive experience across ITSM, CSM, HRSD, Service Catalog, CMDB, App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and platform customization.
Proven experience designing enterprise integrations using REST APIs and IntegrationHub.
Hands-on experience leading ServiceNow upgrades, platform governance, domain-separated implementations, and enterprise migrations.
Experience implementing Automated Test Framework (ATF) and enterprise testing strategies.
Experience engaging with senior business stakeholders and leading discovery workshops, solution design, and technical governance.
Exposure to Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities within the ServiceNow ecosystem is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Competencies
Expert knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and solution design.
Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Service Portal/Workspaces.
Deep understanding of Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, App Engine Studio, CMDB, Discovery, and ServiceNow security architecture.
Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, integration patterns, and automation frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to engage CXO-level audiences.
Strong leadership, mentoring, architectural governance, and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused solutions while driving AI-first digital transformation initiatives.
Pay: $120,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
