Description

6 months maximum term staff role. FIFO 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

Underground Gold Mine located in NSW

FIFO from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

You’ll be embedded in our client’s team (operator).

We’ll be checking in regularly during secondment.

Support, mentoring & technical back up from your Manager, Principals (AusIMM CPs, 15-25 years’ experience) and peers.

The mine is about to undergo significant expansion works, an interesting time!

What you’ll be doing

Data and reporting as directed by client team/s to support planning, coordinating and delivery of mine engineering activities.

Focus on production performance (actual vs planned).

Helping to prepare progress monitoring or site reports.

Maintaining accurate project documentation.

What you’ll bring

This role is ideal for people with ~2 to 3 years of post-grad experience.

Degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent & recognised qualification).

A keen interest in underground & metals mining.

Ability to follow instruction and communicate clearly.

Professional demeanour when representing MEC on site.

Current and unrestricted working rights for Australia.
