About the role
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing janitorial operations across assigned facilities and client accounts. This role ensures contract compliance, customer satisfaction, budget management, staffing effectiveness, quality assurance, and safety compliance. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between the client and operations teams while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Compensation: $70,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars)
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

ABM Employee Benefits: Staff & Mgmt
Manage all aspects of janitorial services for assigned client sites.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and site visits.
Ensure contractual obligations, service levels, and performance standards are consistently achieved.
Lead, supervise, and develop supervisors, leads, and frontline staff.
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain janitorial personnel.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with client expectations.
Investigate and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and service issues promptly.
Monitor labor costs, overtime, supply usage, equipment expenses, and overall budget performance.
Develop staffing plans and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and locations.
Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA standards.
Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, and project updates for clients and leadership.
Manage special projects, floor care programs, deep cleaning initiatives, and facility improvement plans.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
Support business growth through contract renewals, service enhancements, and additional project opportunities.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in janitorial, facility services, environmental services, hospitality, or related operations.
Experience managing multiple locations, projects, or large teams preferred.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Experience with budgeting, payroll, scheduling, and workforce management.
Ability to analyze operational data and implement process improvements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
