About the role

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Employee Experience Operations Specialist is responsible for leading key strategic HR and employee experience projects that support the optimization and integration of new initiatives, processes, tools, and experiences for employees. The role drives HR and Employee Experience (EX) initiatives by applying project management best practices, internal customer needs, employee insights, and business priorities. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, influence and negotiation, project management, stakeholder alignment, and efficient prioritization. It is highly hands-on and demands strong, detail-oriented execution skills. In addition, the role may support employee-facing operational initiatives, including Employee Experience Service Center projects, HR technology implementations, workforce management solutions, Malvern campus employee experience activities, and other initiatives that improve employee experience across North America.

This role serves as a single point of accountability for assigned projects, maintaining focus on scope, resources, schedules, risks, dependencies, issue resolution, stakeholder engagement, and overall project status.

Project Planning & Execution

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with management, project sponsors, product owners, architects, and other stakeholders.

Lead the project execution and delivery and help project teams maintain an overall project vision with supporting project plans.

Support the planning, prioritization, coordination, and execution of the Employee Experience (EX) roadmap, including a portfolio of initiatives focused on service delivery improvements, employee support operations, HR technology implementations, workplace experience, employee engagement, and overall operational effectiveness.

Support assigned workstreams related to CHORUS HCM, Workday, Core HCM, Payroll, service center operations, scheduling platforms, or other employee-facing HR initiatives.

Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Conduct post-project reviews and make recommendations for continuous excellence in project execution and delivery.

Develop and advocate best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Project Governance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Refine project execution approach using project management standards and best practices.

Identify and manage project dependencies, critical path items, and project risks.

Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential roadblocks, and devise contingency plans.

Develop and deliver progress reports to management and other stakeholders including issue/action item logs, project status, and risks.

Conduct post-project reviews and make recommendations for continuous excellence in project execution and delivery.

Track project outcomes, employee feedback, adoption risks, operational impacts, and process improvement opportunities to support successful implementation and sustained employee experience improvements.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Effectively communicate expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion, continuously manage objectives, and hold project team members accountable for delivery.

Partner with Employee Experience, Facilities, HR Hubs, Payroll, HRIS, IT, Communications, business stakeholders, and external vendors to align priorities, manage expectations, change readiness, and deliver successful employee-facing initiatives.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or related equivalent experience

4+ years relevant project management experience running projects in a complex multi-site environment

Must be able to work effectively within a team that project manages a variety of large-scale and multi-disciplinary strategic enterprise projects and initiatives with a cross-functional focus to enhance how HR supports our Employees, Managers, Human Resource partners, and evolving business models

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation skills,and interpersonal skills are crucial

An agile professional with the ability to shift between priorities and meet deadlines

An analytical and digital mindset is crucial, with a passion for applying technology and process improvement to meet employee and business needs.
