Small Business has been identified as a key growth area for Citi U.S. Personal Banking and Wealth Management to drive market-leading value propositions to grow P&L and offer best in class services to attract, engage, and retain customers.

The Small Business Program Product Lead is a Vice President position that will help innovate, drive product development as subject matter expert, execute programs and manage day-to-day activities by working with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product management / project manager experience and is familiar with small business and retail banking regulatory policies. In addition, has ability to work as partner, build relationships and influence, and has strong effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with product and marketing to help define, develop, and implement product strategies through analyzing consumer behavior and preferences, competitive best practices, and product economics

Manage day-to-day activities to deliver and execute product features across multi-phase programs, projects, and workstreams including deposit product processor technology build and customer migration plans

Lead process engineering efforts that foster simplification, lean systemic process lifecycles, and de-risk

Additional responsibilities

Assist product manager with developing roadmaps and business cases

Serve as subject matter expert and has oversight over the client experience, features and servicing processes

Workwith cross-functional project teams within Citi and external partners

Manage product approvals, define product requirements, create user stories, define acceptance criteria, oversee testing status, and post implementation activities

Make recommendations based on regulatory changes, competition, consumer trends and market research

Ensure a positive customer experience and the oversee the lifecycle of an initiative and day-to-day product support

Lead efforts to rapidly fix and remediate any situations which negatively impact customer experience

Highly self-motivated, effective communication and decision management skills, and has the willingness to learn and adapt in an agile environment

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in small business product management and/or project management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a senior audience with the ability to take the lead in broad cross-functional groups

Ability to drive business results with a strong sense of urgency

Bachelors degree
