Role Summary:

NTT DATA's Client is seeking an experienced Tech Consultant – Web Application Development with expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise web applications for internet, intranet, and e-commerce/business platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in web technologies, application integration, database systems, and secure web application development. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing web solutions aligned with business objectives.

Day to Day Job Duties:

Analyze, design, implement, and maintain web-related applications.

Support the organization's internet/intranet strategy.

Develop and maintain e-commerce and business applications.

Integrate front-end applications with back-end systems.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Adhere to development standards, methodologies, and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Programming Languages: Java, ASP, C/C++, VB, JavaScript, VBScript, PERL

4+ years of experience in Web Technologies: HTML, DHTML, XML, ActiveX, Java Applets

3 + years of experience in DBMSs and internet database connectivity.

3 + years' experience of web design principles, firewall technologies, and network security.

Technical Skills:

Frameworks & Middleware: COM/DCOM, CORBA, ColdFusion

Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, Progress

Web Servers & Tools: MS IIS (ISAPI/NSAPI), Visual InterDev, MS FrontPage

Operating Systems: Windows 95/98/NT, Unix

Nice to Have:

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) + Internet or equivalent certifications.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is hourly range From $60.00/Hour to $65.00/Hour. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
