SUMMARY

Responsible for serving as the senior technical leader for data science and machine learning initiatives, providing architectural guidance, technical direction, and mentorship across the organization. Leads complex AI and analytics programs, establishes technical standards and best practices, and partners closely with leadership to drive innovation and business value. Utilizes deep technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities to build scalable enterprise-grade AI solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Helps define and advance the organization's AI, machine learning, and data science strategy.

Identifies and champions innovative AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Provides technical leadership and mentorship to the Data Science team across multiple initiatives.

Establishes and promotes standards, methodologies, and best practices for the Data Science team.

Supports talent development and technical growth within the organization.

Leads architecture and technical design efforts for enterprise AI, machine learning, and analytics solutions.

Defines solution patterns, frameworks, and technical standards for scalable AI development.

Acts as the primary technical lead on complex and high-impact initiatives.

Leads the design and implementation of agentic AI systems, intelligent assistants, and workflow automation solutions.

Establishes best practices for orchestration, tool integration, and autonomous AI workflows.

Leads the development of advanced machine learning models, predictive analytics solutions, and AI applications.

Oversees technical quality, model performance, and delivery across major initiatives.

Drives the transition of AI solutions from experimentation to production deployment.

Partners with engineering teams to establish standards for MLOps, monitoring, scalability, and operational excellence.

Leads strategic analytics and automation initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and decision-making.

Develops frameworks and reusable capabilities that accelerate delivery of AI and analytics solutions.

Ensures adherence to AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI standards.

Provides technical oversight for model validation, risk management, and solution review processes.

Partners with business and technology leaders to shape AI initiatives and solution priorities.

Communicates technical strategy, architectural decisions, and business impacts to executive and operational stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in IT Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Master's Degree in IT Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field

Seven (7) or more years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, or related disciplines

SKILLS

Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and AI solution architecture

Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern AI/ML frameworks

Strong problem solving and communication skills

Proven ability in leading enterprise-scale AI and machine learning initiatives

Ability to design and deploy production-grade AI solutions

Ability to mentor technical teams and lead cross-functional initiatives
