Lead System Engineer - Information Technology (Software Engineer - ICC)

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Spring Boot Developer with 7–10 years of professional expertise in building enterprise-grade applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

What does the job entail?

Application Development

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.

Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless integration.

Implement robust solutions with focus on performance, scalability, and security.

System Design & Integration

Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to design system components.

Integrate applications with databases, messaging systems, and external APIs.

Ensure smooth deployment and integration with CI/CD pipelines.

Quality & Best Practices

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry standards.

Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.

Collaboration

Work closely with product owners, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.

Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Provide technical input during requirement analysis and solution design.

Work Experience

Required Skills & Experience

7–10 years of experience in Java development with strong expertise in Spring Boot.

Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and Spring Cloud.

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Essential Qualification

Exposure to event-driven architectures and domain-driven design (DDD).

Knowledge of security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT).

Experience with front-end technologies (Angular, React) for full-stack collaboration.

Familiarity with performance tuning and scalability optimization
