THE ROLE

As a Business Analyst at Bestsecret, you will identify operational gaps and inefficiencies across our Merchandising and Allocation functions, then design and build automated, data-driven processes to directly improve critical KPIs (sell thru%, stock turn and optimum stock levels). You’ll work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Pricing, Allocation, and Store Operations teams to replace manual workflows with systematic, scalable solutions that drive measurable business impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and collaborate with Merchandising, Allocation, and Store Operations to design and implement automated, systematic approaches that replace manual workflows and enable faster, better-informed business decisions.

Develop Excel and Power BI tools and dashboards to automate merchandising and allocation decisions and track KPI improvements.

Partner closely with the Allocation team to enhance inventory distribution strategies using data insights.

Analyse store-level performance to inform better allocation decisions and product mix optimization.

Lead cross-functional projects supporting new store launches and expansion initiatives; create project plans, track deliverables, and manage stakeholder communication.

Identify gaps in current systems and tools; recommend and help implement solutions.

Train teams on new tools and processes to ensure adoption.

YOUR BACKGROUND

3+ years in Business Analysis, Operations, Retail Planning, or Data Analytics roles, ideally in multi channel retail, or fast-growing organizations.

Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven track record in improving processes and delivering measurable business impact through analytics and automation.

Experience with retail allocation, inventory management, or merchandising planning is a strong advantage.

Complex formulas, scenario analysis, data modeling, able to build sophisticated analytical tools.

Experience in building Power BI dashboards and basic knowledge of SQL.

Creative, self-directed approach to identifying and solving business challenges.

Fluent in both English and German.
