South Tyneside Council’s Housing Services are looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager - Building Safety. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in ensuring the safety, compliance and quality of our social housing portfolio.

Working within a resident-focused local authority housing service, you will lead the operational delivery of building safety across our homes, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements while driving a culture of continuous improvement and resident engagement.

You will be instrumental in managing building safety risks, overseeing compliance programmes and ensuring that residents remain safe in their homes.

As Operational Manager - Building Safety, you will provide leadership and management of building safety operations across our housing stock, including Higher-Risk Residential Buildings (HRRBs) and other complex residential buildings. You will be responsible for ensuring that building safety obligations are met, compliance risks are effectively managed and residents are at the heart of decision-making.

We are seeking a building safety professional with strong operational management experience and a passion for delivering excellent outcomes for residents.
