Principal Business Performance Analyst

About the Role

Were looking for an experienced Principal Business Performance Analyst with a focus on

Affiliate Marketing to join our Marketing Technology team As a key member of the team

youll optimize and drive the performance of our affiliate partnerships leveraging deep analytics

to maximize revenue improve conversion funnels and scale highperforming campaigns

Youll combine data science expertise with your understanding of affiliate marketing

dynamics to uncover trends optimize affiliate channels and provide actionable insights that

What Youll Do

Optimize Affiliate Campaigns Analyze affiliate performance data identify areas of

improvement and make recommendations to increase conversion rates and maximize

ROI across various affiliate channels

Design Analyze Tests Lead AB and multivariate testing to optimize affiliate offers

landing pages and user experience to boost engagement and conversions

DataDriven Strategy Use advanced analytics SQL Python R to provide actionable

insights that help shape affiliate marketing strategy and business decisions

Customer Segmentation Attribution Develop segmentation models to target the

most valuable customers and implement digital attribution strategies to evaluate

campaign effectiveness across affiliate partners

Affiliate Relationships Work closely with affiliate partners to analyze data and

performance trends ensuring alignment with overall business objectives

Reporting Dashboards Build and manage data visualizations and performance

dashboards Tableau Data Studio to track affiliate KPIs ensuring teams have clear

insights on performance and opportunities for optimization

Collaboration Across Teams Advise Marketing Product and Tech teams on

opportunities to enhance affiliate partnerships optimize user journeys and improve

overall funnel performance

What You Bring

Required

Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field eg Statistics Data Science

Economics

6 years of experience in affiliate marketing digital marketing or performance

analysis

Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis tools like Python or R

Proven ability to analyze affiliate campaign performance and optimize for maximum

revenue and efficiency

Experience with AB testing multivariate testing and performance tracking across

affiliate channels

Proficiency with web analytics tools eg Google Analytics Adobe Analytics

Strong data visualization skills using tools like Tableau Google Data Studio or similar

platforms

Excellent communication and presentation skills able to distill complex data into clear

actionable insights for both technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Preferred

Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform BigQuery or other cloudbased data

platforms

Experience in affiliate network management or working with affiliate marketing

platforms eg Rakuten or Income Access

Background in subscriptionbased services or ecommerce models

Experience with project management tools like JIRA or Confluence
