About the Opportunity

Join a global telecommunications project where you will lead the technical strategy for mobile network planning, optimization, and performance across multi-generation networks.

As a Connectivity & Network Engineer L3, you will serve as the technical reference for Network Planning & Optimization (NPO), driving end-to-end network performance improvements, leading cross-functional engineering teams, and ensuring the successful deployment and optimization of advanced RAN and Core solutions.

This role is ideal for experienced telecommunications professionals who combine deep technical expertise with leadership skills and enjoy solving complex network performance challenges in multi-vendor environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead planning and optimization activities across 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G mobile networks.

Define and execute optimization strategies to improve network performance and customer experience.

Lead Drive Test processing, analysis, reporting, and end-to-end log analysis using industry-standard tools.

Develop initial tuning, single-site optimization, and cluster optimization strategies.

Define KPI monitoring methodologies, reporting frameworks, and performance analysis standards.

Drive benchmarking initiatives and continuous network performance improvements.

Lead KPI mapping, parameter optimization, and configuration consistency across multi-vendor environments.

Promote automation, data analytics, and Business Intelligence practices within the engineering team.

Lead the implementation and validation of RAN, Core, Open RAN, and end-to-end solutions.

Perform technical validation, stabilization, and service acceptance activities.

Act as the escalation point for complex deployment, integration, and performance issues.

Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical network incidents and define corrective action plans.

Coordinate cross-functional teams including Optimization, NPO, Care, Customer Operations, and Engineering.

Produce operational and executive reports while participating in governance, quality reviews, and customer meetings.

Create technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge-sharing materials.

Support smooth transition from deployment to operational teams after project stabilization.

Mandatory Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in Mobile Network Planning, Optimization, or Network Performance.

Strong expertise across:

2G

3G

4G/LTE

5G NR

Solid understanding of:

3GPP standards

RAN features

Mobility management

Signaling

Network optimization

Extensive hands-on experience with:

RF Optimization

Capacity Planning

Performance Management

Network Modernization

Rollout and Swap projects

Strong knowledge of:

RAN KPIs

Counters

Parameters

Performance Analysis

Experience working in multi-vendor environments.

Proven expertise in:

Initial Tuning

Drive Testing

Cluster Optimization

Network Audits

KPI Monitoring

Hands-on experience with industry tools such as:

ATOLL

TEMS Discovery

NetAct

U2020

Performance Manager

Strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) capabilities.

Excellent leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams.

English B2 or higher (Mandatory).

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Open RAN (O-RAN).

Experience with Business Intelligence, data analytics, and reporting.

SQL and Python scripting skills.

Experience with automation initiatives within network optimization.

French and/or Spanish language skills.

Previous experience leading customer-facing technical engagements.
