Position Summary

This position will be working in the Vadodara office. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing accounts payable invoices for payment, including but not limited to, voucher entry, payment review, and account coding. It is essential that the Accounts Payable Specialist have a clear understanding of the total accounts payable process. The candidate must be organized, accountable, detail-oriented, and adaptable to ensure deadlines are met timely and with a high degree of accuracy. Responsibilities

Process supplier invoices accurately and within defined SLAs.

Process payment runs and support payment reconciliation activities

Responsible for the complete end-to-end process of reviewing and releasing supplier invoices. This will include the following:

o Researching and resolving discrepancies with the supplier invoices,

o Ensuring to send forecast details to treasury timely,

o Bank reconciliation,

o Working closely with individuals at all levels of the Company to ensure timely and appropriate processing of invoices and payments and in accordance with Company policies and procedures,

Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and AP reconciliations.

Researching and responding to supplier inquiries or other stakeholders.

Monitor invoice ageing and ensure timely payment to suppliers.

Managing void and re-issue the payments timely to close month end smoothly.

Maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and company policies,

Assisting with ad hoc special projects

Working with IT to test system enhancements prior to implementing changes in ERP.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any field or similar field of study is recommended

0-2 years’ experience performing full cycle Accounts Payable functions

Ability to follow instructions for multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Experience with multi-company organization

Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills

Ability to understand and process high volumes of data

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Basic understanding of debits and credits

Willingness to learn

Flexibility with shift timings
