Area Sales Manager (Sales & Marketing)
About the role
Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and delivering solution-based sales of precision engineering and industrial automation products.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales targets and grow business within the assigned territory.
Develop new OEM customers and identify project opportunities.
Build and manage long-term relationships with key accounts.
Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
Prepare techno-commercial proposals and negotiate commercial terms.
Work closely with engineering and application teams to deliver customized solutions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Required Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics
5–8 years of experience in B2B Industrial Sales.
