Azure Data Architect – Job Description

Seeking an Azure Data Architect with 10-15 years of experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and enterprise-scale Azure Data Platform implementations.

Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Power BI, Spark, Delta Lake, Lakehouse Architecture, Python, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Entra ID.

Proven experience in designing end-to-end data architectures, data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, real-time data integration, data governance, and scalable analytics solutions.

Expert knowledge of Data Warehousing, MPP databases, Dimensional Modeling, Star/Snowflake Schema, EDW, ODS, Relational and NoSQL databases, along with SQL performance optimization.

Experience processing and integrating ERP data sources (Oracle EBS, JDE, SAP S/4HANA) into enterprise analytics and reporting platforms.

Strong capability in solution architecture, low-level design, deployment strategy, technical governance, stakeholder management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.

Preferred experience with Azure Purview, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Logic Apps, Power Automate, Informatica, SSIS, and SSAS, with a focus on secure, scalable, and high-performance analytics platforms.
