Key Responsibilities

1. Client-Facing Product Advisory & Revenue Outcomes

· Act as a senior client-facing product specialist, supporting UHNW/HNW client engagements alongside Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors.· Participate in client meetings, portfolio reviews, and investment discussions to provide deep product expertise and solution structuring.

Drive product-related revenue, penetration, and solutioning outcomes across asset classes (Funds, Structured Products, Fixed Income, FX, Alternatives, Equity).

Partner closely with Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors to structure, position, and execute investment solutions for UHNW/HNW clients.

Provide senior-level product expertise and market insights to support complex client engagements.

Ensure high standards of sales quality, suitability, and sustainability of outcomes.

2. Product Management Collaboration & Regional Alignment (Malaysia)

Act as the primary Singapore front-office interface with the Malaysia-based Product Management team.

Provide structured , client driven input on:

o Product gaps and client demand trends in Singapore

o Commercial viability and pricing considerations

o Competitive benchmarking and market practices

Collaborate closely with Malaysia Product Management on product strategy, shelf construction, and prioritisation.

Ensure alignment between Singapore client needs and regional product roadmaps.

3. Product Onboarding & Governance

Lead and coordinate new product onboarding for Singapore, working closely with the Malaysia Product Management team and local control functions.

Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Technology to ensure:

o Robust product due diligence and approval documentation

o Clear Target Market Assessment (TMA) and suitability frameworks

o Accurate disclosures and client documentation

o Operational readiness and system enablement

Support periodic product reviews, re-approvals, and issue remediation in collaboration with Malaysia stakeholders.

4. Upskilling & Capability Building – Malaysia Product Team

Support the capability development of the Malaysia-based Product Management team, with a focus on:

o Singapore private banking market practices and client expectations

o Front-office product positioning and advisory considerations

o MAS regulatory and suitability requirements (where relevant)

Contribute to the development of training materials, playbooks, and best-practice frameworks.

Participate in regional workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and product deep-dives.

Act as a mentor and subject-matter resource to selected team members in Malaysia.

5. Stakeholder Management & Governance Committees

Represent Product Advisory in product, risk, and governance forums as a senior subject-matter expert.

Provide balanced, data-driven recommendations on product approvals, enhancements, restrictions, or suspensions.

Act as a key escalation point for product-related matters across Singapore and Malaysia.

6. Market Enablement, Training & Thought Leadership

Deliver product and market training to Relationship Managers and junior Product Advisors in Singapore.

Translate complex investment strategies into clear, client-ready messaging.

Support the development of sales tools, pitch materials, and internal product communications.

Contribute to market thought leadership and internal investment discussions.

Key Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

· 10–15 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or investment advisory.· Proven client-facing experience with UHNW/HNW clients, either directly or in a senior product-advisory capacity.· Strong track record in product advisory with measurable commercial outcomes.· Hands-on experience working with regional product management teams and cross-border stakeholders.· Solid exposure to product onboarding and governance within a MAS-regulated environment.· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline; CFA / CAIA / MBA preferred.

Technical & Professional Skills

· Deep understanding of multi-asset investment products and private-bank client needs.· Strong knowledge of MAS regulations, product governance, and suitability frameworks.· Ability to articulate complex products clearly to sophisticated clients.· Excellent stakeholder-management, presentation, and influencing skills.

Personal Attributes

· Senior, credible advisor with strong professional judgment and client presence.· Comfortable engaging directly with clients and senior private bankers.· Collaborative and culturally aware, with experience working across Singapore–Malaysia teams.· Commercially minded while maintaining strong risk and conduct discipline.
