About the Role

The Technical Product Manager is responsible for identifying, defining and driving Fivecast products and features through a complete lifecycle from inception to support. The Technical Product Manager works with all areas of the Fivecast business, including Product Development, Marketing and Sales to help execute the Product Roadmap.

Responsibilties

Developing a deep understanding of competitive landscape.

Understanding customer’s problems and defining solutions to address them.

Defining go to market strategy for identified products and features.

Developing technical product specifications and feature descriptions.

Defining User Experience in collaboration with the UX Designers

Working with clients to elicit requirements during product inception and throughout the product lifecycle.

Working with the technical teams to steer and oversee feature development and release products and features to clients.

Working with Marketing and Sales to ensure adoption and on-going success of developed capability.

Assist Head of Product with shaping the Product Roadmap.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has worked on consumer facing web applications/products and can create such applications from scratch. We also need someone that can understand the competitive landscape, the market we are operating in, and help to anticipate the market needs before they arise.

Defence Clearance: Eligibility for NV1 defence clearance (requires Australian citizenship AND ten years of residency)

Tertiary Qualifications: University Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum 10 years of experience in product management / business analysis / systems engineering with significant time spent in business requirements analysis, product definition and end user engagement.

Recent experience with and understanding of generative AI

Experience in high tech sector working on web applications

Experience working in the domains of AI, Data Science, Risk Analytics and data visualisation

Ability to work with stakeholders to elicit and manage requirements, including clients and other engineering staff

Ability to develop product specifications, feature descriptions and product roadmaps

Strong organisational skills, is detail oriented, and a pro-active team player

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Excellent verbal and writing skills

Understanding of the following market segments: Financial Crime, Defence, Law Enforcement, National Security
