Responsibilities

We are seeking a commercially focused Business Controller – Transport to partner with our Transport Operations and Finance teams. This role plays a critical part in driving financial performance, providing commercial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across our transport network. A dynamic role, where every day is different, your duties will include:

Partner with Transport Operations leaders to improve financial and operational performance.

Prepare and analyse monthly financial results, forecasts, and budgets.

Monitor transport costs, productivity metrics, and profitability.

Identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.

Ensure compliance with DHL financial policies and reporting requirements.

Drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives.

Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.

CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Experience in business partnering, financial controlling, or commercial finance.

Background in transport, logistics, supply chain, or FMCG industries highly regarded.

Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

Advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
