In the role of Telecommunications/Security Designer II, we'll count on you to:
Calculate electrical power loads, determine UPS requirements and design of system-related single line diagrams
Complete set of construction documents
Understand that assignments have objectives that require investigation of many variables
Independently perform low voltage technology system/electrical engineering assignments with broad general instruction from Project Manager as to the results expected
Write specifications covering all low voltage technology system matters, perform reviews and work directly with owners as a part of project team
Assist other Designers, Project Coordinators or technicians as needed, and be responsible for work in all phases of the low voltage technology design process
Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with 7+ years of experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Final level and scope of the role may be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) Certification.
PSP Certification
Familiarity with Autodesk platforms
Experience in Data Centers and Healthcare systems preferred
Ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience
Minimum 5 years experience in low-voltage system design
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
