What to Expect
Tesla’s Battery Cell - Supplier Industrialization team is responsible for battery cells, raw materials’ new process development and qualification, quality engineering activities at suppliers. The Supply Chain Program Manager will work closely with many organizations both internal and external to Tesla, taking new battery raw material designs from initial concept through into mass production. In this role, you will serve as the representative of battery cell supply chain organization and act as the central point of contact between Tesla internal teams - Supply Chain function including Tesla’s Executive Team, Engineering, and Manufacturing organizations.

What You'll Do
Assesses, analyses, consolidates and communicates risk and status clearly, calling out key issues, and presenting path to resolution in cross functional forums at working level as well as to senior executives.
Manage phase gate development cycles for battery cell raw materials
Enable & ensure factory/line readiness at multiple supplier sites before start of mass production
Develop and monitor project schedules to track project health and proactively communicate schedule delay risks to both internal and external teams
Provide visibility into program status and key metrics for stakeholders in Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing
What You'll Bring
BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Material Science & engineering. 8+ years of experience in New Product development (from design to mass production) at high volume manufacturing industry
Experience in Phase Gate (or Stage gate) product development cycle
MS/MBA is preferred. Experience in Battery Industry is preferred
Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills. And ability to present to senior management.
Detail oriented at the same time big picture thinker
Strong track record of identifying process gaps and driving meaningful improvements
Prior technical expertise (process development, or quality engineering, or design engineering) is preferred.
Ability to travel – 50 - 60 % to manufacturing sites across Europe
