Now Hiring | Senior Archer IRM Developer / Consultant
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Archer IRM Developer / Consultant to join a high-performing project team supporting and enhancing an enterprise Archer Integrated Risk Management (IRM) platform.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development, configuration, integration, and ongoing enhancement of a critical governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platform. Working within an Agile delivery environment, you’ll help deliver new Archer capabilities, improve existing solutions, and support enterprise-wide risk management initiatives.
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience across the Archer IRM platform, including application development, workflow configuration, integrations, authentication, reporting, and platform administration.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance Archer IRM solutions to meet evolving business requirements
Configure Archer IRM applications, workflows, reports, dashboards, and platform capabilities
Gather, refine, and document business requirements and translate them into user stories and functional solution designs
Work within an Agile delivery team using Jira to support sprint planning and backlog management
Develop and maintain integrations between Archer IRM and enterprise systems using Archer APIs and REST APIs
Configure and manage authentication, authorisation, user roles, and permissions
Develop and maintain Archer Advanced Workflows
Configure and manage LDAP integrations
Support manual data ingestion, Data Feeds, and Data Publication Services
Optimise platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and support high-volume data processing
Perform unit testing, support test planning, and participate in release activities
Present sprint outcomes to business stakeholders and senior project leaders
Support production releases, including occasional after-hours deployments
Key Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with the Archer IRM platform
Experience installing, configuring, and administering Archer IRM environments
Experience developing Archer applications, workflows, reports, and dashboards
Strong experience managing user access, authentication, authorisation, and platform security
Experience building integrations using Archer APIs, REST APIs, LDAP, Data Feeds, and Data Publication Services
Experience supporting large enterprise datasets and platform performance optimisation
Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and platform support capability
Experience working within Agile delivery environments using Jira
Desirable Skills
Archer IRM Certification
Knowledge of Elastic
Knowledge of Hadoop
Experience with Authentication Broker technologies
Experience working within governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) environments
Knowledge Areas
Candidates with experience or understanding of the following frameworks will be highly regarded:
Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
Information Security Manual (ISM)
Essential Eight
NIST Cybersecurity Framework
Location & Working Arrangements
Locations: Canberra (preferred), Melbourne or Adelaide
Hybrid Working
Candidates will initially work onsite for approximately the first six weeks.
Following this period, hybrid working arrangements may be considered.
Standard expectation is a minimum of three days per week onsite.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Archer IRM professional who wants to work on enterprise-scale governance, risk, and compliance solutions while contributing to the ongoing evolution of a critical national platform.

Pay: $180,000.00 – $220,000.00 per year
