Directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development, and performance management of the staff. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations regarding and, at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

PERFIL

Escolaridad : Carrera de ingeniería (electrónica, mecánica, mecatronica, industrial)

Experiencia :

3-5 years of experience as a Product Electrical Engineer

BS Engineering or equivalent

Operations Experience

Lean Manufacturing Experience

Conocimientos :

Oracle

Ability to interface with Customer Engineering Teams

Bilingual (Spanish/English) 80+%

SMT Manufacturing Process

Habilidades / Competencias :

Leadership

Familiarity with NPI Projects Execution

Lean and 6 sigma methodologies; 8D, DOE, etc

Ability to interact with independent projects at the same time.

Responsabilidades / Actividades :

Drive execution of the NPI schedule on a daily basis

Work with Operations to allocate the resources to support NPI builds.

Manage the indirect people/functions that support the execution of a build.

Provide status to individual project owners in terms of build status.
