Accountant

Location: Thane Experience: 3+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

A. Daily Accounting Operations

Check and respond to emails and WhatsApp communications related to accounts

Update and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis

Maintain proper records of financial transactions

B. Purchase & Payables Management

Verify and process purchase bill booking (service-related)

Prepare creditors payment due list

Execute creditors payments as per schedule

C. Banking & Tally Entries

Prepare cheque deposit slips

Record cheque entries in Tally

Download all bank statements and ensure timely entry in Tally (monthly)

Update and record CMS & FASTag transactions in Tally

D. Compliance & Payroll

Perform salary calculations (monthly)

Ensure GST data confirmation (monthly)

Ensure TDS data confirmation (monthly)

E. Cash & Voucher Management

Handle cash transactions responsibly

Prepare and maintain cash vouchers

F. MIS & Reporting

Prepare and submit MIS reports as required by management

Maintain accurate and updated financial records for reporting

G. Additional Accounting Responsibilities

Handle accounting work related to Nilmay, SPS, and other associated entities/projects

Maintain and control service diary records, including:

Quotations

Bills

Debit notes

Outstanding records and related documentation.

Key Skills & Requirements

Strong knowledge of Tally (mandatory)

Good understanding of GST and TDS compliance

Basic knowledge of banking processes and reconciliations

Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy

Good communication and coordination skills

Proficiency in MS Excel

Working Conditions

Full-time, office-based role. May Be one Sunday Working in month and Weekday holiday.
