Category Specialist
We are looking for a talented Category Specialist to join our Trade Marketing Team at Bolton Food, based in Milan.
How you make the difference
As a Business Intelligence & Sales Support Category Specialist, you will contribute to the development of Business Intelligence tools and commercial analysis that support strategic decision-making across the Trade Marketing and Sales organization. Working in a highly cross-functional environment, you will help transform data into actionable insights, optimize commercial processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
How your agenda looks like:
Developing and maintaining Business Intelligence tools to support commercial decision-making
Analyzing Sell-In and Sell-Out and performance, identifying business opportunities and actionable insights
Supporting the Sales organization in the effective use of CRM and commercial planning tools.
Contributing to Trade Spending monitoring and commercial performance analysis
Supporting Sales Forecast and Demand Planning activities through data validation
Preparing presentations, reports and recommendations for Trade Marketing and Sales leadership
Collaborating on digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, including AI-enabled business solutions
Your team:
This position reports directly to the Business Intelligence Category Manager. In this role, you will work closely with Trade Marketing, Sales, Demand Planning, Customer Service and IT, contributing to projects that support business performance and commercial execution.
How you look like:
Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering or related disciplines
Previous experience in a dynamic FMCG environment, with a focus on Trade Marketing and Sales.
Strong analytical mindset and passion for data-driven decision making
Strong organizational skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Fluent in English
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Curious, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced FMCG environment
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Flexible and able to thrive in dynamic and cross-functional environments
