Sector Controller

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Now, if you were to come on board as our Sector Controller, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

Provide accounting and financial analysis to ensure accurate financial statements within specific deadlines

Ensure all financial-related contractual obligations for clients are being achieved

Prepare all clients reporting/invoices accurately and promptly

Prepare balance sheet analysis

Answer queries for and support Operations Management and Sr. Management

Address queries from internal and external auditors and the client

Ensure operations adhere to company policies

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting

3-5 years Financial Accounting experience in a computerized accounting environment

Exceptional analytical skills and the initiative to solve problems

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment, both in the office and with Operations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Experience working with JD Edwards and Hyperion Financial Management would be an asset

Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred
