We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and client-driven individual to join our CFO team as a Manager, to assist us in providing service excellence, ensuring all aspects of our clients’ needs are met and exceeded. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Financial Oversight & Compliance
Lead the review of client financial files to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal standards.
Team Leadership & Development
Mentor Accounting and Data Advisors through structured feedback and coaching; champion professional growth and succession planning.
Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary liaison for clients on financial reporting and advisory matters, delivering strategic insights and exceptional service.
Full-Cycle Accounting Governance
Oversee reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation; ensure integrity and timeliness of month-end and year-end close processes.
Strategic Contribution
Drive operational improvements and participate in high-level initiatives, including process optimization and organizational development.
Regulatory Filings & Risk Management
Ensure accurate preparation and submission of GST and other compliance filings; proactively manage financial risk.
Workflow Coordination
Collaborate with peers and senior leadership to plan, prioritize, and execute file completion strategies efficiently.
Client-Centric Service Delivery
Foster strong client relationships through personalized, attentive service and proactive problem-solving.
Talent Onboarding & Training
Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training to build a high-performing team aligned with organizational goals.
The successful candidate will have:
at least 5 years’ experience in full cycle bookkeeping procedures
at least 5 years’ experience in QuickBooks Online is required.
advanced knowledge of financial reporting, tax and strategic planning
Tech Stack experience including integration of apps is considered an asset.
excellent computer skills and willingness to upgrade such skills, as required.
A CPA designation is preferred
