This position provides leadership for daily and strategic business processes including policy development,
customer satisfaction and acquisition, operational improvement, production scheduling, staff selection and
development, and facility/business growth and expansion. Decisions of the General Manger directly impact the
success of the business.
Main Responsibilities:
In conjunction with Sr. Management establishes challenging targets for improvement in all areas of Business
Provides leadership in operational scheduling by setting production priorities
Maintain and strengthen supply chain resources and vendor relationships
Reviews and reports ongoing company performance to stakeholders
Provides leadership in promoting a cooperative, harmonious and successful work environment
Develops and manages standard for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety
Maintains Production metrics for internal reporting
Direct supervision of 6 positions and overall responsibility for entire staff
Analyzes internal and external data to make recommendations for strategic planning
To succeed, you will need
Qualifications
Leadership – demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results
Planning – ability to organize and anticipate needs over 3- 6 month time frames
Problem Solving – ability to compile known, unknown internal and external data to generate reasonable action plans or resolution recommendations
Attention to Detail – ability to provide highest level of analysis, service or development to any situation.
Commitment to Quality and Strong team orientation
Management – ability to organize multiple activities in dynamic environment using high level communication and multi-tasking skills.
Education and Experience
College Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
3 plus years management experience in relevant environment
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret written documents
Ability to interpret technical charts and drawings
Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquiries
Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
