About The Role
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Business Analyst to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London. Our client is seeking a Business Analyst or Project Manager to work within our Corporate Actions and Income Processing team, supporting the delivery of end-to-end solutions. From capturing events to entitlements, elections, payments, and tax processing and using the award‑winning cloud-based platform.
Responsibilities:
Lead working sessions with stakeholders, SMEs, development teams, and external parties to define functional and non-functional requirements.
Process and manage voluntary and mandatory events (e.g., dividends, stock splits, mergers, rights issues), ensuring timely, accurate execution.
Analyze and interpret corporate action and income event announcements, calculate entitlements, update positions, and manage income flows.
Liaise with custodians, brokers, and internal teams (tax, accounting, portfolio managers) to confirm event details and validation.
Investigate and resolve client issues within agreed SLAs. Provide support during crisis or incident periods.

About You
4+ years experience in corporate actions and/or income event processing in capital markets or asset servicing firms
Proven business analyst or project management experience in financial services; strong domain expertise in announcements, entitlements, elections, and payments
Hands-on experience capturing and documentation of business requirements (US/UK tax, entitlements, withholding claims)
Technical familiarity with CAIP or similar systems; understanding of ISO 20022, SWIFT messaging
Strong collaboration skills: liaising with custodians, brokers, accounting, and client teams
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-engagement abilities
