Third-Party Wealth Operations
Third-Party Wealth Operations is responsible for servicing Third-Party Advisors who work with TIAA institutional and individual clients in support of the distribution of TIAA products and services. The Third-Party Wealth Operations role is primarily responsible for managing various aspects of the TIAA advisor platform and how we integrate that into the day-to-day operational support of Third-Party Advisors. In addition, the Third-Party Wealth Operations role plays an important role in developing, maintaining, and monitoring processes and our control environment to minimize business risks.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Work directly with Third Party Advisors by providing the necessary operational and practice management support required to facilitate the distribution of TIAA’s products and services on our platform.
Support the activities of the Advisor Desk and Relationship Management team by providing subject matter expertise on our infrastructure and operational processes in order to broaden the distribution of TIAA products and services through Third Party Advisors.
Act as the SME for certain operational processes by developing, implementing, managing, and maintaining standard operating procedures for both plan level consultants and participant level advisors. While the role may be focused on a particular aspect of operations at the plan or participant level, the individual will be required to develop a broad working knowledge of all operational aspects of the business.
Manage and monitor certain aspects of our controls built into our infrastructure and processes to ensure that we are minimizing risks associated with the business being conducted by Third Party Advisors on our platform.
Support special initiatives and projects to ensure the ongoing health and development of our Third Party Advisor platform.
Educational Requirements
University (Degree) Preferred

5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
FINRA Registrations
SRC Indicator: Series 6 or 7; Series 63
Licenses and Certifications
Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) - Multiple Issuers required within 120 Days

Experience working with Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) and Broker Dealer (B/D) Regulatory Environment.
Strong communication skills and client influencing ability
Ability to make accurate decisions and act independently

Base Pay Range: $83,000/yr - $116,000/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
