With this expansion has come a significant growth in headcount as well as added complexity. To meet the needs of this exciting new business area, we are actively seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist. The role of the Senior Human Resources Generalist is to ensure that a company’s most important asset - its human capital - is being nurtured and supported through the creation and management of programs, policies, and procedures, and by fostering a positive work environment through effective employee-employer relations. This role reports directly to the Human Resources Operations Manager and requires being onsite a minimum of 3 days per week, Tues-Thursday.
Your tasks
Collaborate with HR colleagues in HR Operations, Learning & Development, and Recruiting, to identify and implement high impact projects.
Provide guidance to leadership on emerging trends, compliance requirements, and initiatives to enhance employee engagement
Provide onboarding support through content creation, coordination, and ongoing maintenance of materials and processes.
Assist with workforce planning, staffing needs, and hiring tracking, and hiring activities.
Develop and maintain a job skills matrix for all position categories, outlining required skills, competencies, and qualifications for each level.
Develop, update and maintain job descriptions and draft professional, consistent job postings
Assess organizational training needs and evaluate the effectiveness and utilization of learning resources.
Ensure adherence to organizational, federal, state, and local compliance requirements; proactively identify and mitigate risk
Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up‑to‑date employee records across all HR systems.
Support onboarding, offboarding, and full employee lifecycle processes
Oversee travel risk management processes and support related compliance and safety protocols

Your qualifications
Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
HR certifications are a plus (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
Deep knowledge of employment laws and government compliance regulations.
Experience supporting Federal Government Programs
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, charts & graphs).
Experience with HRIS (ADP preferred), SAP and Deltek
Experienced at running reports in ADP
Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Detailed and process oriented
Demonstrated ability to multi‐task
Ability to travel 5%
in order to be considered, candidates must reside in the US and have permanent work authorization.

The total compensation for this position is $71K-$95K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
