Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Team Leadership

Own the day-to-day delivery of project workstreams, ensuring timely and high-quality execution

Lead a cross-functional team consisting of developers, QA specialists, and analysts

Provide hands-on technical guidance, mentoring, and support to team members

Proactively identify and remove blockers to maintain team velocity

Technical Delivery

Design and develop enterprise-grade applications, APIs, and integrations using .NET and Azure

Translate solution architecture into practical, implementable designs

Collaborate closely with architects to ensure alignment with architecture standards and patterns

Participate in and lead code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code

DevOps & Release Management

Coordinate and execute deployments and releases across environments

Ensure effective use of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

Support environment management, release coordination, and deployment planning

Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability and performance

Quality & Best Practices

Enforce development standards, coding best practices, and quality assurance processes

Promote and support automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end)

Drive continuous improvement in team practices, tools, and workflows

Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs)

2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

2+ years experience with .NET CMS platforms, in particular Umbraco/Umbraco Cloud

Proven experience in a senior developer role with team leadership responsibilities

Strong experience with:

Azure App Services, Functions, and API Management

Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines)

CI/CD implementation and release management

Git and branching strategies (e.g., Gitflow, PR reviews)

Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or similar)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to own delivery outcomes

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience leveraging to AI tools, GitHub Copilot in particular.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience in a Consulting environment

Experience with .NET modernization (e.g., .NET Framework to .NET 6+)

Experience designing and implementing API integrations and distributed systems

Front-end experience with modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)

Microsoft Azure certifications
