Position
Reporting to the AGS Head of Logistics CE, the Logistics Coordinator for Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) oversees the comprehensive supply chain processes for promotional materials. This encompasses managing all logistics operations and collaborating effectively with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partners specializing in POSM. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for designing and optimizing the flow of promotional materials and provides support to Marketing Teams during the ordering process for new POSM. In addition to POSM, this role also involves supporting logistics processes for bottled products.
The Logistics Coordinator is proactive in identifying opportunities for service and process improvements, always considering cost efficiency, and actively contributes to both existing and new projects. This role also involves participating in the appraisal and development of 3PL providers to ensure continuous operational improvements, and, when necessary, proposing and implementing transformative changes to meet evolving logistics challenges.
Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Management
Ensure accurate POSM inventory management across all product categories
Manage end-to-end POSM logistics flows, including inbound, warehousing, destruction, customs/tax compliance, and outbound operations
Oversee co-packing activities, including BOM creation and maintenance
Monitor stock levels, manage stock rotation, and identify slow-moving and obsolete items
Provide logistics support for Wines & Spirits processes
Service Performance
Coordinate communication between internal stakeholders and 3PL providers
Monitor daily operations and escalate issues as required
Support POSM stock counts in coordination with relevant departments
Monitor and manage 3PL operational performance
POSM Master Data
Create and maintain locally produced POSM SKUs in the ERP system
Demand Planning of POSM
Prepare stock and rotation analyses
Support POSM ordering and budget planning
Analysis, Reporting, and Compliance
Deliver regular reporting on stock, transit, movements, and packaging usage
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards
Tools and Processes
Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Support the development of tools, processes, and operating models
Document and formalize key operational knowledge and procedures
Profile
Education:
University degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Economics, or a closely related field.
Professional Experience & Expertise:
A minimum of two (2) years of post-qualification experience in supply chain, specifically within demand planning or logistics.
Prior experience working with SAP MM/SD or a comparable ERP system in an international environment is considered a significant asset.
Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Languages:
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Communicative proficiency in German.
Proficiency in French is highly desirable.
